Aion Open Beta Information

Well, the time has finally come, in a little less than a week, the Aion Open Beta will commence, this will last one week, from September 6th to September 13th. Open Beta will require a key to access, keys can be obtained two ways, you can pre-order the game, or you can subscribe to FilePlanet.

Once you have secured your spot in beta (I know I have) you can download the client using the NCsoft launcher, or, the preferred method is by bittorrent. All available download methods can be found here. If you download through bittorrent, be sure to keep your torrent downloader running and help seed the download for other testers, the more the merrier.

After the open beta test is complete, NCsoft will be be running a "pre-select" on September 18th to allow pre-order players the chance to create their characters and reserve their names early, the two-day headstart will begin on the 20th for North American players. The game will launch 2 days later on the 22nd of September. I hope to see you all in Atreia soon!
